Claira finished off Kindergarten with a bang! Her class performed a spicy little salsa dance number complete with a fresh flower placed in every girl's hair. My favorite part was the "shimmy" dance... just awesome. They also sang a song & we watched a slide show of all the fun things they did all year. They recognized all the kids and what areas they improved in throughout the school year. Ms. Moultrie even read one of Claira's hilarious stories she wrote at school. Claira is generally quiet on the outside but really is a little firecracker & you can tell that she loves expressing herself through the stories she writes.
After the ceremony they had a luncheon for the families. The kids got little gift bags full of goodies like books, candy, and a kindergarten t-shirt autographed by the whole class! It was so nice! Here is Claira & her best buddy Matt being silly.
