I rarely wear heels to church nowadays.
Reason #1: I've been working with kids for the better part of the last 3 years mostly 18 month olds to 3 years olds and I've found that moving quickly and sitting on floors isn't all that practical or comfy with ginormous heels on.
Reason #2: I'm utterly a walking wreck and can't make my ankles work properly...due to the fact that I never wear heels.
Exception: Thought I'd give her a go. Today I wore heels.
Good idea? No.
Proof? Yes.
Flats are sounding really good right about now. Look at that authentic battle damage! Lucky for me this happened after church. Goodbye disco ball shoes. I'll miss you.

Aw, isn't that the worst! And heels are so fun, especially when we're not familiar with being tall! Oh well, at least flats are comfy!
Oh no!! That's so funny!! I think heels are overrated-- who can wear them while carrying floppy/screaming/tantrumy kids around anyway? I'm always afraid I'm going to break my neck wearing heels to church, and then I'd really be in trouble!
Ohhh, that's awful, but so funny at the same time. I gave up heels and platform shoes when I "fell off" my 4 inch heels and broke my foot. But I do miss them sometimes! :)
Oh man! Glad it was after church!
Hahahaha! What did you DO?! That really got destroyed! In the shoe's defense, you have had those a long time. Didn't you wear those to winter ball? I rest my case.
I gave up heels four kids ago! HA! Loved reading everyone else's comments, especially Karina's. Thanks for sharing your blog. Love reading it.
