Jonesin'

Indiana Jonesin' that is.

Ben got the Lego Indiana Jones game for Xbox this Christmas, which he & Claira have been thoroughly enjoying when they both get a break from school! Thank you snow days, we love you!

When it's time to turn the game off (when the timer beeps ha ha...) Claira's imagination runs wild and she turns herself into this....

Yes, that is a "whip". We don't ask questions.

There are actually 2 of these "whips" so Dylan can actively participate in whipping people, furniture, and treasures alike!
Fun Fact: in case you didn't know, the "whips" are actually called Poi that Ben got in Hawaii on a Madrigal trip when he was in high school.

What are poi you say? (That's what I said)

Poi is a performance art employing a ball or balls suspended from a length of flexible material held in the hand and swung in circular patterns. Poi originates from the traditional performing arts of the Maori people of New Zealand, and has since developed many forms enjoyed worldwide as a hobby, exercise, or performance art alongside juggling and other forms of object manipulation.

Man, I love Wikipedia.

That is so funny! Josh has the same Poi balls, from his Madrigals trip.

Oooh, long poi balls. Those are harder to dance with than the short ones. Fun stuff.
And FYI, that snow is worthy of an Alaskan winter. Congrats. :D
