Sweet Treats

We started out our Valentine's weekend by heading to the Tolley home! They took our kids so we could go on a date...AGAIN! Yesss! The kids had a BLAST as always! They made crafts, watched Aristocats, ate rice crispy treats, and played in the snow with a very adorable 'almost-2-year-old' beauty named Madeleine.

Thanks again guys!

We went to the 3D showing of the movie Avatar & it was fantastic! We had so much fun & couldn't help but giggle like 12 yr. olds at the gratuitous swearing. We actually really enjoyed it & wanted to see it again the minute it was over! It was that good.

Ben was so thoughtful & bought me the Twilight books (minus the last one...thanks again for that one Karina:) I always used to borrow them & never got around to buying them for myself, so he took it upon himself to do it for me. Good man.

The second part of Valentine's weekend started with the Valentine's Fairy paying the kids a visit!

This was a yearly tradition in Ben's house growing up, it's too cute...

The Valentine's Fairy rings the doorbell & when you open the door she is gone & has left you treats on your door step!

repeat until all kids are 'treated' :)

What a great Valentine's Day! I would almost like the holiday if I had a husband like yours...mine forgot, but I'm not bitter or anything. He just says it's not a "guys holiday.":) Those snow pictures are CRAZY!! I still look at them and can't believe how much snow there was. Sheesh.
